Amaan and Ayaan Ali - Atelier Magazine April 2013 cover

Dressed casually in denims and vibrant hued T-shirts, sarod maestros Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan walk into
our shoot location with much poise on a weekday afternoon. Their aura reflects a certain sense of sophistication with fissures of mischief and playfulness. Music seems to accompany the very presence of these very talented and supremely gorgeous Bangash brothers. Both in their early 30s, the duo have carved out a niche for themselves in the world of Indian classical music.

Amaan: “Fusion music, a rage amongst today's music lovers, sees the world as a global village."

Ayaan: “Every collaboration has a vision. It is not about just playing alongside each other; the music should be like a bouquet of flowers. The universal concept of unity has a beautiful message.”
